Coffee crisis!
So I headed to my local Peet's today to pick up a pound of my favorite, Top Blend. I had my Peet's bag, I recycle. I was all ready to be a good citizen and fill up, get my 25 cent bag refund, and be on my merry way. But wait, what's this? The barista is telling me that Peet's has discontinued Top Blend. WTF?! Since when does Peet's discontinue blends? Top Blend is my favorite. What am I supposed to do now? Drink Blend 101 or Major Dickason's.
What do you recommend? I'm at a loss people.

I have never heard of Peet's coffee down here in Florida so I don't know what to tell you. I will say good luck on finding another of their coffees that you like.
My local market has a way of finding out my favorites in lots of foods and then they stop carrying whatever it is. I swear sometimes I think they are out to make me miserable.
Yeah PoP it's like having them discontinue your favorite lipstick shade only worse. I can still source old lipsticks on e-Bay and such, no joy with the coffee beans though. :-(
p.s. Peet's is a local institution here in the Bay Area - dark espresso type roasts. Absolutely fabulous coffee.
I have come to accept that nothing is forever and since I did that, life is much lighter in so many ways.
If they discontinue something, I just move on and don't allow myself to be too upset. There's always something better in the future or at least it seems it works that way.
