Those lazy, hazy, CRAZY days of summer
I grew up in Minnesota, so I have fond memories of the State Fair. Where I come from it is an annual tradition to carve Princess Kay of the Milky Way into a large block of butter. Yup, I'm not kidding. In the Land O' Lakes it was every little girl's dream to be immortalized in butter. So when I saw this USA Today article on the Wisconsin man who carved Mount Rushmore from a 700 pound block of cheddar I just had to smile. This must be a Midwestern thing. The article says that Cheez-Its commissioned the piece and is sending it on a tour of the United States. It will end it's tour in Oklahoma where it will be cubed and a fed to people as a snack. You've just gotta love edible art!
