Shopaholic takes a website
"Hi my name is Fashiongirl, and I'm an addict". Yes, I'm addicted to internet shopping. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. This week's web cruise netted a new favorite site with a bevy of wonderful baubles and clothes to lust after. From www.pinkmascara.com:- Sweetees Debra Aztec dress- Seychelles black under the influence black patent leather shoes- Kipepeo Lotus earrings- Rachel Leigh lust chain necklace in silver- Motif 56 Keri belt (black corset)Now if only I could find me a sugar daddy.
Hip sip?
Okay I'm the first to admit if you use "hip" in your blog title, you probably aren't. However there are exceptions even to my rules. I was sent a link the other day to a new wine website for those who are young, rich and want to be au courant on all that is wine.
Courtney Cochran is the queen of Hip Tastes. Her site is fun and fresh. She spends as much time checking out your outfit as she does checking out the vintages (see Hamptons in California). I'm addicted to goods & gadgetry.
Drop on by for a taste of something new. And Courtney, when your organize your first Napa wine tour, call me!
Haute, haute, haute
I'm communing with my inner Carrie Bradshaw today. The Paris Haute Couture shows have finally landed online, and I'm fascinated! Were I to hit the jackpot tomorrow in Vegas, here's what I would have to take home: - For day: Jean Paul Gautier's fabulous men's cut pantsuit
- For cocktails: Armani's champagne knee length wrapped cocktail dress
- Evening: Elie Saab's divine black velvet strapless gown with purple tie dye effect or Armani's navy blue strapless gown. So classic, so elegant
I thought the collections were amazing. I was surfing over at www.hellomagazine.com. Chanel is definitely having a rocker moment. Even Lagerfeldt's bride wore thigh high white suede boots. Very sly Karl. Georgio Armani was channeling a kind of Great Gatsby/fin de siele thing. Christian LaCroix rocked the Goth babydoll look. And finally Christian Dior (or shall I say Galliano) was as dramatic as ever. It was a Queen of the Night collection. Operatic, full of demented munchkins (except they are 6' tall models) and vegetative gowns that make you think Alice in Wonderland...after the hookah.
